So, I resigned yesterday from TDS after months of unpaid salaries, and @benredd ‘s firing was the final straw.

Needless to say, I fully back and support my former team. All my solidarity 🙏🏼 https://t.co/2R0h6bB1Nu
Some personal news. Today I was let go from my job at The Daily Star, my home for almost four years. I had been helping organize a strike because workers are owed up to half a year's salary — despite the paper being owned by Lebanon's billionaire prime minister.

A number of my Daily Star colleagues and I are on strike today over the non-payment of our wages (some for 6+ months) and what we see as the arbitrary dismissal of our colleague @benredd for his role in organizing a strike that most staff were planning together.
